‘Straight A Fool’

What if you go to fix something,
But forget to bring your tools?
What if God gave you
A perfectly functioning brain
And you saw clouds overhead,
Yet made no effort to get out of the rain?

What if all your life you choose to do
Only what you wish,
Never thinking of the consequence
But willing to take the risk?

What if you try to fit in
By using a vulgar word,
Or getting others to laugh
By making sounds like a bird?
What if you show by scoring high
On daily work and tests
That you are capable of being the best?

What if you spend your life
Trying to suppress and ignore God’s gifts?
Can anyone guess the answers
To these “what if’s”?
What if you use your brain
Only as a tool to be cool,
Then wake up with the title,
“Straight A Fool”?
